Why hybrid operators matter#

Three operators dominate the global Telegram gambling advertising: 1xBet, Stake, and Mostbet. Each runs a hybrid product — casino + sportsbook + crypto-betting — under a single brand, with an underlying account that spans all product types. Across our archive, they account for 180+ indexed creatives and represent the sharpest example of regulatory arbitrage in action.

Unlike Binance (which has per-geo legal entities aligned to local regulation), hybrid gambling operators typically run single-entity campaigns with domain-rotation to evade geo-blocking. This creates a different cross-geo pattern worth documenting separately.

The three operators#

1xBet#

Background: Founded 2007, registered in Curaçao (1X Corp N.V.). Claimed 400M+ users globally. Banned or restricted in 20+ countries including UK, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.

Product scope:

  • Sportsbook (football, cricket, cybersport, niche sports)
  • Casino (slots, live dealer, poker)
  • Crypto betting (USDT, BTC deposits)
  • Bingo, lottery, financial betting

Telegram presence: 60+ indexed creatives across RU/TR/IN/MENA/SEA geos. Among the most aggressive rotation velocities in our archive.

Stake#

Background: Founded 2017, registered in Curaçao. Sponsorships with UFC, F1 teams, Drake (celebrity partnership). Strong crypto-native positioning.

Product scope:

  • Casino (slots, original Stake games, live dealer)
  • Sportsbook (growing share)
  • Crypto-only deposits (BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, DOGE, others)

Telegram presence: 45+ indexed creatives across EN/BR/LATAM/CA-adjacent/TR/KR geos. Crypto-centric branding throughout.

Mostbet#

Background: Founded 2009, Cyprus-registered (Bizbon N.V. operator). Primarily targeting CIS, TR, IN markets. Marketing partnerships with athletes in target markets.

Product scope:

  • Sportsbook (heavy football focus)
  • Casino (slots, live dealer)
  • Aviator and crash games (specific to emerging markets)

Telegram presence: 40+ indexed creatives mostly targeting RU/TR/IN/UZ geos. Lower variety than 1xBet but similar aggressiveness.

The per-geo creative comparison#

Russia/CIS — heaviest volume#

All three operators target Russian audiences heavily. Key patterns:

  • 1xBet: "1xBet — бонус 100% на первый депозит до 32,500₽" (100% bonus on first deposit up to 32,500 RUB)
  • Stake: "Играй с крипто — Stake.com принимает BTC, ETH, USDT"
  • Mostbet: "Mostbet регистрация за 30 секунд — промокод MB2026"

Volume: 1xBet leads with 20+ creatives per quarter, Mostbet at 15+, Stake at 8+ in RU targeting.

Turkey — high volume, football focus#

Turkey is the second-highest volume market for all three, with distinct football-centric copy:

  • 1xBet: "Türkiye'nin en sevilen bahis sitesi — Süper Lig canlı bahis"
  • Stake: "Stake.com — crypto ile bahis, 10 dakikada çekim"
  • Mostbet: "Mostbet Türkiye — 600 TL hoşgeldin bonusu"

Turkish creatives frequently reference domain-rotation workarounds around Turkey's DNS blocking.

India — cricket-centric#

India represents a distinct pattern — all creatives center on cricket (IPL, international matches):

  • 1xBet: "IPL 2026 — back your team, 1xBet odds live"
  • Stake: "Stake Cricket — highest odds, instant BTC withdrawals"
  • Mostbet: "Mostbet India — ₹25,000 welcome bonus"

Cricket framing is the most reliable India-targeting signal for hybrid gambling operators.

Brazil — football + PIX integration#

Brazil is increasingly regulated (post-2023). Stake obtained a license; 1xBet and Mostbet operate grey-market.

  • Stake: "Stake Brasil — licenciado, saques via PIX instantâneo"
  • 1xBet: "1xBet — bônus 100% até R$ 1.200, PIX aceito"
  • Mostbet: "Mostbet Brasil — Libertadores, Brasileirão, pague com PIX"

Stake's licensed position vs competitors' grey-market operation is the clearest regulatory stratification within this category.

EU — essentially absent#

None of the three operators run meaningful Telegram campaigns targeting DE/FR/IT/ES/NL. Reasons:

  • Strict national licensing requirements none of them hold
  • DNS blocking of primary domains
  • Channel owners reject creatives due to liability exposure
  • Advertising is effectively a legal risk with minimal upside

1xBet occasionally appears in Russian-diaspora-targeted ads running on German channels, but these are rare and context-classified as RU rather than DE.

MENA — gold and football#

Arabic-targeting creatives concentrate on football (European leagues, Saudi Pro League) and gold-investment adjacent framing:

  • "1xBet — راهن على كأس العالم باحترافية" (Bet on World Cup professionally)
  • Stake is notably absent from MENA creative inventory

Latin America (outside Brazil) — Argentina and Mexico#

  • 1xBet: "1xBet Argentina — bono 100% en pesos, retiro por Mercado Pago"
  • Stake: "Stake LATAM — jugá con crypto, retiros en minutos"
  • Mostbet: Limited LATAM presence

The aggressiveness comparison#

Using the same 1–10 scoring framework applied to Binance:

Operator EU targeting RU/CIS Turkey India Brazil MENA
1xBet N/A 9 10 8 7 8
Stake 4 (EN only) 7 7 6 5 (licensed) N/A
Mostbet N/A 9 10 9 8 N/A

Key insight: Stake's overall aggressiveness is lower because its EN-global positioning (with branded celebrity partnerships) creates reputation-sensitive constraints. 1xBet and Mostbet have no comparable global-brand constraints and run maximum-aggression creatives wherever channel owners accept them.

Crypto-integration patterns#

All three operators accept crypto, but with different structures:

1xBet: BTC, ETH, USDT, 10+ others as deposit currencies. Displayed in creatives targeting crypto-native audiences.

Stake: Crypto-only for primary accounts (BTC, ETH, SOL, USDT, LTC, DOGE, others). Fiat deposits routed through Stake's licensed subsidiaries (Brazil, etc.). Stake is the most crypto-native of the three.

Mostbet: Limited crypto integration — primarily offered as alternative to fiat in CIS markets.

Creative pattern: Stake creatives globally emphasize crypto; 1xBet emphasizes bonuses; Mostbet emphasizes welcome offers.

Domain rotation and evasion#

Unlike Binance (which uses stable per-geo subdomains), hybrid gambling operators use rotating domain infrastructure to evade DNS blocking:

  • 1xBet operates 20+ mirror domains worldwide: 1xbet.com, 1xbet.africa, 1xbet.pro, 1xbet-partners, 1xbet-sport, hundreds of ISO country-code variations
  • Creatives frequently link to short-URL aggregators (bit.ly, tiny.cc, channel-specific redirects) that route to currently-functional domain
  • Domain lifecycle: 2–8 weeks before major jurisdictions add DNS block

Effect on archive: Indexing domain-rotation operators requires tracking the advertiser via brand keyword + CTA destination pattern, not just CTA URL. Our classifier tags these brands by name pattern + destination pattern family.

Responsible gambling messaging#

A notable differentiator:

  • Stake: Consistent "18+" + responsible gambling messaging in most creatives (Stake has higher reputational exposure due to mainstream sponsorships)
  • 1xBet: Variable — responsible gambling messaging in licensed-market creatives (BR), absent in grey-market (RU/TR)
  • Mostbet: Minimal responsible gambling messaging across all markets

This pattern correlates with jurisdiction-specific regulatory expectations rather than operator ethics. Stake runs the same messaging globally because of reputational constraints; 1xBet adjusts per-market.

Channel concentration#

All three operators concentrate advertising in:

  1. Sports news and analysis channels — primary channel type
  2. Team-specific fan channels — high engagement, match-event timing
  3. Cryptocurrency channels (Stake specifically) — crypto-native audience
  4. General entertainment channels — slot and casino cross-promotion
  5. Local news channels — mass reach, context-appropriate targeting

Betting is the highest-volume gambling advertising category in sports channels during major events (World Cup, Euro, IPL, Champions League knockouts).

What researchers can observe#

The hybrid gambling operator ad patterns allow researchers to study:

  1. Jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction compliance differentials — licensed Brazilian operations vs grey-market others
  2. Domain-rotation frequency vs DNS blocking coordination — measurable cat-and-mouse
  3. Celebrity partnership signaling (Stake) — how reputational constraints bind creative choices
  4. Creative lifecycle per geo — 3–7 days in RU/TR, 14–30 days in BR (licensed)
  5. Cross-promotion patterns — same brand in sports + entertainment + crypto channels = operator capability claim

For citable research, all 180+ indexed hybrid-operator creatives are accessible via our public API and CSV.

Regulatory trajectory (speculative)#

Based on observed enforcement trends 2023–2025:

  • Brazil licensing (implemented 2024): model likely to be adopted elsewhere in LATAM (Peru, Chile, Argentina in discussion)
  • EU enforcement: hybrid operators' DNS blocking will continue; Telegram advertising will remain absent
  • India: regulatory direction unclear (state vs federal), but telegram-side enforcement minimal
  • Russia/CIS: no near-term regulation expected; Telegram advertising will continue
  • USA: hybrid operators unlikely to enter US advertising market due to state-by-state complexity

Methodology#

This profile is based on creatives indexed by tgadsspy.com between November 2024 and April 2026. Hybrid operator classification uses brand keyword detection + CTA destination pattern matching + visual banner brand extraction. False-positive rate <3% for hybrid-operator classification.

Aggressiveness scoring is subjective — coded manually for this report using the same framework as the Binance profile. Domain rotation analysis is based on deduplication logic comparing CTA URLs across creative families.
